Head teacher awards for Week 4 Autumn Term presented on Friday 26th September 2008.

















The staff of Gelli Primary have nominated their Head teacher award winners for this week.
The children listed below have achieved special recognition from their teachers for outstanding contributions to school life through this week and were presented with their head teacher award stickers in assembly on Friday morning.

Well done all - Llongyfarchiadau bawb.

Class 1 - Nursery - Miss Mathias wishes to nominate Codie Evans for always smiling and Liam Miles for always making nursery laugh.

Class 2 – Nursery / Reception – Mrs. Davies wishes to nominate Ashton Evans for being very helpful when cleaning away after activities and Rosie Exell for always being polite and happy.

Class 3 - Reception / Year 1 – Mrs. Fraser wishes to nominate Dylan Roblin for his excellent writing work and Katie Hopkins for excellent reading

Class 4 – Year 1 / Year 2 – Mrs. Dyer wishes to nominate Dominic Jacka for always listening carefully during whole class and group discussions and Emmie Jones for always working hard in all subjects

Class 5 - Year 3 – Mrs. Carly wishes to nominate Livvy Rooke for writing an excellent story opening and Jacob Williams for trying hard to complete his tasks.

Class 6 - Year 4 – Mrs. Johnson wishes to nominate Bethany Meredith for trying so hard to write with her sore arm and Josh Davies for always trying hard and smiling all day long.

Class 7 - Year 5 – Mrs. O’Gorman wishes to nominate Katie Griffiths for excellent creativity in writing tasks and Josh Roberts for contributing to oral maths lessons.

Class 8 - Year 6 – Mr. Hughes wishes to nominate Jack Jones who works hard in all subjects and is always pleasant and polite and is a great role model for everybody in our school and Shauna Edwards for tackling each task efficiently and without much fuss, for being helpful to others and asking sensible questions.

The staff of Gelli Primary have nominated their Head teacher award winners for the week ending on 19th September 2008.
The children listed below have achieved special recognition from their teachers for outstanding contributions to school life through this week and were presented with their head teacher award stickers in assembly on Friday morning.

Class 1 - Nursery - Miss Mathias wishes to nominate Dylan Owen for smiling coming to school and Abigail Vaughan for starting school so well.

Class 2 – Nursery / Reception – Mrs. Davies wishes to nominate Jackson Davies for listening carefully to instructions during circle time and Morgan Challenger for being so helpful in the classroom.

Class 3 - Reception / Year 1 – Mrs. Fraser wishes to nominate Lucy Nichols for listening carefully and working hard in mathematics and Emily Maggs for always asking questions during our time on the carpet.

Class 4 – Year 1 / Year 2 – Mrs. Dyer wishes to nominate Lauryn Sharpin for always working hard and her excellent number skills and Thomas Sims for always listening carefully and working hard.

Class 5 - Year 3 – Mrs. Carly wishes to nominate Rhian Evans for excellent behaviour in the swimming pool and Luke Evans for brilliant mathematics work and always trying his best.

Class 6 - Year 4 – Mrs. Johnson wishes to nominate Connor Wilton for an excellent sketch of a chair and Talia Davies for settling into year 4 and trying much harder this week.

Class 7 - Year 5 – Mrs. O’Gorman wishes to nominate Connor Evans for designing his own recording table in mathematics and Leah Evans for producing improved pieces of work a continued improvement since year 3.

Class 8 - Year 6 – Mr. Hughes wishes to nominate Dylan Evans for always helping in class and around school, working well on his own and with others and Rebecca Lewis for successfully passing her Grade 1 Violin exam with distinction and producing quality work in all aspects of the curriculum.

Class 1 - Nursery - Miss Mathias wishes to nominate the whole class for starting school with big smiles.

Class 2 – Nursery / Reception – Mrs. Davies wishes to nominate Lewis Meets for always listening and contributing to class discussions and Kelsey Lewis for playing co-operatively with others, always smiling.

Class 3 - Reception / Year 1 – Mrs. Fraser wishes to nominate Taylor Challenger for her excellent behaviour at all times and Thomas Edwards who always listens and works hard.

Class 4 – Year 1 / Year 2 – Mrs. Dyer wishes to nominate Tyler Evans for making giant steps in his behaviour and attitude and Skye Boyce for settling in well to class 4 and working very well.

Class 5 - Year 3 – Mrs. Carly wishes to nominate Keelan Davies for making an excellent start to year 3 and Lucy Thomas for a great working attitude.

Class 6 - Year 4 – Mrs. Johnson wishes to nominate Ethan Dunning for making an excellent start to year 4 in his work and attitude and Anna Grant for working hard all week in all her tasks.

Class 7 - Year 5 – Mrs. O’Gorman wishes to nominate Leah Evans for excellent effort in writing a character description and Gabriel Adams for excellent effort in Maths.

Class 8 - Year 6 – Mr. Hughes wishes to nominate Holly Jones who has led by example in her work this week and has followed and applied the class rules and Kieran Waite for putting all his efforts into producing work of a high quality, always with a smile on his face.
